Draftsperson

Meyer Designs – Coldstream, BC

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced draftsperson. Your duties will focus on producing detailed drawings for single family homes conforming to the BC Building Code. You will be working with the designer, clients and contractors.

Professional Qualifications

Must have a solid understanding of drafting, residential construction including foundations, basic framing, floor systems, beams and roof trusses. Local building practices knowledge is an important asset. We are looking for an employee who has a great eye for detail and enjoys working creatively within technical and budgetary constraints.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for an outgoing and professional employee that can work well collaboratively and patiently with not only our team, but also to be able to meet the needs of our clients. Good communication skills are essential. Bonus points for a good sense of humour.

All design and construction drawings are completed in Revit, however, we are willing to train you if you have working experience with another CAD software.

Full time work with competitive salary and bonuses based on experience.
